In his spare time, he enjoys working out, playing guitar, stargazing, and spending time with friends. He's also an amateur mechanic and astronomer. He will retire (graduate) this May after 5 years of formal education and 4 years of service at the Planetarium. He hopes to either pursue a career in taconite mining or middle/high school teaching.

Derric Johnson

Derric was a Physics and Teaching Physics majors. He did research with the physics department and has always been interested in astronomy. At this point, he his thinking about teaching either college, or high school physics. He enjoys playing guitar and piano. He did many original and well thought out shows, as well as much of the technical maintenance type work.

Sarah Toews

He has participated in geological expeditions to Malawi and the Philippines. In his spare time he works on and rides his motorcycles including taking various trips around Minnesota and Canada with his girlfriend Brittany. Next summer he will be completeing field camp for his geology major as well as taking a motorcycle trip to Alaska. Because of his geology studies, he is the expert on astronomical geology and likes to focus on the moons of planets, especially the Galilean Moons. Ehren was good at the technical work at the planetarium, and often fixed things that were broken. He also gave a great starshow.

Andy Yadon

Andy is a history major, as such he is the planetarium expert on the history of astronomy and other intersting topics. In his spare time he works at McDonalds and watches the Packers. Andy helped keep the planetarium together by making sure the administrative work was always done, but his claim to fame is his UFO shows that have seen a lot of success.
