Concerts by the Lake, a Glensheen tradition of giving back
Once again, the Glensheen mansion on the historic Congdon
estate will be opening up its grounds for its FREE Concerts by the Lake series. Due to its
popularity, our series of musical Wednesday evenings have spilled out of July and now include
the first two Wednesdays of August as well.
All are invited to enjoy the gardens and grounds opening at 6 p.m. every Wednesday
starting July 3rd on through August 14th. Music starts at 7 p.m.
"It's makes for a special summer evening by the lakeshore enjoying wonderful local
artists," says Beth Peterson, Glensheen's Signature Events Manager. She advises families to
bring chairs, blankets – even a picnic dinner – and to come early enough to wander the blooming
gardens and grounds.
