UMD Holds Second Campus Forum on Campus Climate
Duluth, MN — The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) and the Diversity Commission invite the Duluth-area community to participate in the follow-up of a December 4, 2013 Campus Forum focused on beginning a dialogue about racism on UMD's campus and within the community. The second event, Campus Forum #2 will be held Tuesday, February 26, from 4-6 pm in the UMD Kirby Ballroom.
The forum will allow participants to actively engage in conversations and exercises, which will lead to each individual identifying how their personal actions can improve the racial climate on campus and in the community. This event is open to the entire Duluth and UMD campus community. Campus Forum #2 is not a lecture and active participation is required for the full session.
People interested in attending the forum should register is at the Diversity Commission webpage http://www.d.umn.edu/umdoeo/diversity/.
