Jefferson Lines Begins Daily Bus Service from the UMD Campus to the Twin Cities

Starting Thursday, March 31, Jefferson Bus Lines will begin the "College Connection" bus service connecting the UMD community as well as Duluth area residents to the Twin Cities and points beyond. The Jefferson Line pick-up is right on UMD's campus at Kirby Circle (Kirby Student Center).

The bus leaves UMD each afternoon (seven days a week) at 3:25 p.m. and stops at St. Paul, Minneapolis, the Amtrak Station, and the University of Minnesota Coffman Memorial Union, as well as other locations on Interstate 35.

The bus leaves the Twin Cities for Duluth each morning. Tickets to the Twin Cities are $20 each way. Riders with a U Card (student ID) will receive an additional 15 percent off. For a limited time, everyone can buy one ticket and get one free. Tickets can be purchased on the UMD campus at the UMD Stores (street level).

Arrive Amtrak station 7:25 p.m.
Arrive U of M Coffman Union 7:35 p.m.
Arrive Minneapolis bus depot 7:45 p.m.

Leave Minneapolis bus depot 10:30 a.m.
Leave U of M Coffman Union 10:40 a.m
Leave Amtrak station 11:00 a.m.
Leave St. Paul bus depot 11:20 a.m.
Arrive UMD Duluth 3:15 p.m.
