"Duluth's Public Gardens"

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) Urban and Regional Studies Program and the UMD Center for Community and Regional Research will present the fourth program in their "brown bag" lecture series.

In his speech titled "Duluth's Public Gardens", Mr, Kasper will cover topics such as:

  • What is the history of Duluth's public gardens?
  • What do public gardens do for a city like Duluth? How vital are they as public spaces?
  • What is the relationship between Duluth's public gardens and Duluth parks?
  • What impact will Duluth's current budget problems have on its gardens?

The lecture is free and the public is cordially invited.
