The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) will hold its eleventh annual "Nightwalk for Campus Safety" on February 2nd, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Students, faculty and staff from UMD will walk together, covering all outdoor, and many indoor areas of the campus. During the walk, each participant will be asked to fill out a form listing any areas of possible safety improvement they notice.
At the end of the walk, the information will be used by the UMD Office of Finance and Operations and the UMD Safety, Health, and Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee to make plans for campus improvements.
Safety walkers will meet inside the front entrance of the new UMD Kirby Plaza Bus Hub at 5 p.m. Members of the public are welcome and are reminded to wear warm clothing and bring a flashlight.
