Glencoe, Minnesota native Julie Conkel
has been selected to be the student speaker at University of Minnesota Duluth
(UMD) Baccalaureate Commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 17 at 12 noon in the
Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC).
Ms. Conkel will graduate summa cum laude from the UMD College of Education
and Human Service Professions with majors in Psychology and Women's Studies.
She is the daughter of Terry and Jeanne Conkel of Glencoe.
