UMD TECHFEST 2000 SET FOR MARCH 10
Will Showcase Latest In Technology
UMD TechFest 2000 is set for March 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the UMD Kirby Student Center Ballroom (3rd floor). The public is cordially invited to see the latest in Technology at UMD. Admission is free.
The third annual Techfest will focus on how technology is used in UMD classrooms to enhance learning. There will be on-going demonstrations throughout the day including:
- Interactive Online Portfolios
- Use of animation at the School of Medicine, Duluth
- The Winners of Student WEB Contest
Door prizes of 50 to 60 pieces of computer software, 2 printers, and a grand prize will be given out. Those who attend will have a chance to earn a free t-shirt. Refreshments will be served.
