  • The Human Rights Campaign Work Life section is a national source of information on workplace policies and laws surrounding sexual orientation and gender identity.
  • If you are interested in working in the GLBT community doing policy work, social work, advocacy or education, check outIdealist.org for a list of GLBT-related non-profit organizations where you might find a great internship! Search on "gay, lesbian and bisexual issues" to find over 500 agencies in the U.S.
  • HireDiversity.com: This website has resources for several diverse populations including African Americans, Asian Americans, disabled, gay & lesbian, Hispanics, Native Americans, and women.
  • PlanetOut.com has a Money and Careers section with news and resources including ways to find gay-friendly organizations.
  • ProGayJobs provides numerous resources to GLBT jobseekers to find jobs with companies that embrace diversity. Diversity-focused employers with opportunities can post jobs and advertise to the GLBT workforce.
  • Equality Forum's Fortune 500 Project details the list's organizations that do and do not have non-discrimination policies including sexual orientation.
  • Out for Work hosts an annual National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Undergraduate Student Career Conference. This year's event takes place October 21-22, 2006 in Washington, D.C.
