About Tom

Hello, I’m Tom Ambrosi, one of the reference librarians at the Kathryn A. Martin Library, and I’m here to help you whenever you need research assistance. Whether you need:

  • help determining keywords and terms for searches
  • recommendations of the best books, databases, and resources for a topic area
  • assistance with a research strategy or literature review

Whatever your research need, I’m here to make your research easier and more rewarding. You can contact me via email at or by telephone at 218-726-7861. Or you can just stop by my office of the library’s second floor, room 262.

If you’d prefer to set up an appointment, just use the link to the left and let me know something about your research interests.

I specialize in the areas of English, History, Philosophy and Theatre. If you have a question in another subject area, you are welcome to start with me, or you can contact any of our other reference librarians via our complete list of subject specialists.

Reference librarians are available on the second floor of the library to provide assistance.

Can't find the resources you need? Set up a conversation with me and my colleagues!

What I can do for you!
