UMD Publicly Available Databases -- Databases on this list can be accessed by the general public from their own computers. Access to UMD subscription databases can only be accessed by community users from public computer workstations located in the UMD Library. Please go to the UMD Library Circulation desk on the 1st floor for more information.

BadgerLink: Wisconsin's Connection to the World of Information -- Wisconsin residents can access 11,000+ periodical titles and 700+ newspapers, literature, business, medical, and education sources.
ELM: Electronic Library for Minnesota -- ELM provides Minnesota residents with online access to magazines, journals, and newspaper articles, e-books, and information from other reference sources.
Locally Available Electronic Resources
Duluth (Minnesota) Public Library Electronic Resources -- Includes electronic resources available only to DPL cardholders and electronic resources available from the Electronic Library for Minnesota (ELM).
Thunder Bay (Ontario, Canada) Public Library Virtual Collection -- A large collection of online databases available to TBPL cardholders.
