Articles on animals of all types, arranged taxonomically by class, order, and family species. Type in animal and the article will detail their life cycles, predators, food systems, overall ecology and much more.  
Dates of Coverage:  Chapters were completely revised and updated as of 2004. 
Special Features: Shows how to cite resource for MLA or APA citation style. Allows you to export citation to Reference Manager, EndNote or ProCite. Hyperlinks to other web sites as well as to other pages within the encyclopedia.
