Outstanding figures in the theology of the Reformation are well represented in the Ramseyer Collection.
The Collection of homilies and prayers by Martin Luther was printed within his lifetime, as was the Commentary on the First Epistle to the Romans by Melancthon.
The Sermons of Calvin are present in a number of volumes in the Collection and besides the Life of Erasmus on display, the Collection also has a facsimile printing of his "Praise of Folly", with marginal sketches by the younger Holbein.
