A Talk to the Academy of Medicine and Parapsychology

Arigó
Paul
Buffalo
  1. Diagnose Illness
  • simply look at the patient

  • for Arigo, heard voice of Dr. Fritz

    • M.D.
    • died in 1918
    • spirit guide

  • Radionics

  2. Healing, by the laying on of hands, of organic disease

("manual healing")
  • "manual healing" does not have the same status of biofeedback today

  • some were with prayer

  • some were without prayer

  3. Self-healing physician
  • Arigo also was never able in 20 years to treat any organic illness in a "blood" relative

Arigó
No
Paul Buffalo

  4. Ability to use molecular medicine

Notes

~
  11.
  • Genius of Arigó was in curing untreatable diseases

  • A healer often turns patients away to other doctors, and quite often does that upfront

  • says he can't cure things

  • Arigó, with easy cases, will say something like "go away; don't waste my time"

or, "I'm sorry. Your time has come. Good bye. God Bless you."

~
  12.
  • Arigo never charged (to A.H.P.'s knowledge)

  • no fees

Working Hypotheses

    A. Arigó, "I was programmed" to do healing

  • Is this an aspect of mind related to a brain or mind unrelated to a brain?

  • But body / mind dualism not part of many cultures

~
    B. Arigó was a "true medical genius"

  • coperative effect ("resonance") between two bodies may produce healing (between healer and patient)

    • but is not the case with Arigó

~
    C. There may be common characteristic (throughout) between all Universal life forms

  • for example, water

  • may lend to "blueprinting"

~
    D.

Other hypothes: There might be other civilizations elsewehere ------> means of directing programs

  • UFO sightings high

~
    E. Parallel genetic programing, with parallel coded instructions
      Parapsychology
  1. telepathy -- one mind transfers information DIRECTLY to another

  2. psychokinesis ("mind movement") -- "the influence of mind upon matter, as the use of mental 'power' to move or distort an object" (Online Medical Dictionary)

    • telekinesis ("distant-movement")

  3. astroprojection -- separation of soul element from the body

~

What does this have to do with Culture and Personality?

We'll see with the discussion of Anishinabe healers.
