SERVES: Local and Regional Community Organizations and Agencies that lack capacity and/or resources to conduct research on their own.
PURPOSE: To provide community organizations and agencies resources to initiate public policy based projects that are central to their mission. The research process is driven by the community, in collaboration with UMD faculty and/or UMD students. Successful projects are those that create partnerships between organizations and agencies, and with UMD. Click here for community-based guidelines.
HOW TO APPLY: A call for proposals is distributed to community organizations in mid fall semester, and the deadline for proposals is generally December. Click here for the general outline for proposals.
