UMD Library--Study Guides on Reserve
The UMD Library has study guide/practice tests available for all of the MTLE Exams: Basic Skills Tests (Reading, Writing, Math), All Content Tests, and All Pedagogy Tests. They can be checked out at the main level reference desk with your UCard. The study guides and practice tests are available for a three day loan.
Basic Skills Test
While there are no free materials available that align specifically to the MTLE Basic Skills tests, similar competencies are required in other states. Reviewing those study guides can be helpful to you as you are preparing for the MN MTLE Exams.

MTLE Pedagogy and Content Information
The Minnesota Teacher Licensure Exam Pedagogy and Content Tests assess students’ competencies in a specific subject area and grade level. While there are a few free materials available to date that align specifically to the Minnesota Pedagogy and Content exams, there are additional free materials available on the web from other state’s tests that are similar to the requirements on the MTLE Content and Pedagogy exams. These materials can be very helpful in preparing you for your exams, but should be reviewed carefully.
