About Dorothy

Having worked in a number of early childhood education settings with children aged birth to school age, I am very happy to join the team here at Children’s Place.  My professional path has included working in center-based care, running my own family child care, and most recently teaching in the Head Start program on the Fond du Lac reservation.  I am honored to be able to share part of their precious toddler years with the children here.  Lindsey is a wonderful teacher and a kind, sharing partner to work with.  We share strong values in authentic creative experiences for children, providing an environment that features natural materials, and active learning through play.  It is a joy to come to work each day with such wonderful children, families and colleagues.
