There are still some issues with the new forms provided by VCAA

Issues with form for redundancy;

  • There are only four spots for objectives, but more could be added without having to keep in only 4 boxes;
  • Directions say new courses need to complete 1-28, but only 1-27 are provided on the form that downloads.
  • It is not clear if people filling out the form need to add a N/A if a question is not relevant to a proposal.

#10 – Components is still confusing for faculty. More explanation would be helpful.
#13 – What is meant by repetition? (Do faculty need to do “yes” if want students to be able to repeat it?)
#24 – A professional style for references should be required or requested. CEHSP would probably use the APA format.
#26 – The italicized description could be clarified.
#27 – What should be entered if this only affects the program submitting the course proposal? If it does affect more programs, what is expected regarding “communications?”
