The meeting began at 2 pm

It was clarified that Fay would chair the meetings for spring semester.

• ECh 3060 was reconsidered after returning from the department. The committee approved the proposal pending minor changes: modifying the second bulleted outcome; clearly linking the methods to the evaluation; change typo on numbering of references.

Jennifer Niemi spoke about the rationale and history of development of the OjEd proposals.

• OjEd 3110 was approved pending minor changes:  adding a rationale, adding a note on prerequisites for print/enhanced/both, ensuring the conceptual outline reflects measurable outcomes for the course.

• OjEd3220 was approved pending minor changes: adding a rationale, adding a note on prerequisites for print/enhanced/both, ensuring the conceptual outline reflects all measurable outcomes for the course.

• OjEd 4100 was approved pending minor changes: adding a rationale; and adding a note on prerequisites for print/enhanced/both.

•  OjEd 4220 was approved pending minor changes: adding a rationale; adding a note on prerequisites for print/enhanced/both; making Objective #1 measurable; clarifying Objectives #3 & 6; modify evaluation to demonstrate that all outcomes will be measured.

It was noted that the forms “Add a course” and “Proposal-Add a course” were not the same. The “Proposal” form does not require a rationale which the committee finds useful. None of the forms show a date which would indicate which are most current. Bruce will see that this is investigated.
