The Head of the Lakes Fall Job & Internship Fair is a general (all majors) job fair held annually at UMD. Employers will be seeking candidates for internships and full-time positions, as well as promoting their company.
Several companies will be interviewing on-campus the day of the fair and Oct 3rd. Companies will select students at the fair to interview.
Students register at the door.
This event is free and open to current students and recent alumni from the University of Minnesota, College of St Scholastica, and University of Wisconsin Superior.
UMD students/alumni, log into your GoldPASS account to drop your resume to employers (until September 29).
Parking for CSS/UWS students/alumni: Pay Lot G or parking meters. See Campus Parking Map.
We strongly suggest that you prepare for the fair prior to attending the fair.
Registration opens June 1st.
Employers register through GoldPASS.
Early-bird discount ends September 2; registration closes September 25.
The non-refundable registration fee includes continental breakfast and lunch for up to two recruiters, a 6'-8' table, two chairs, and wireless internet access. Free electricity is available on a limited basis, must be requested at registration and will be assigned first-come, first-served.
- Private Industry rate: $200 ($250 after September 2)
- Non-profit and Government rate: $150 ($200 after September 2)
- Additional lunches: $15 each
- Interview space: $50 each (limited availability, day of or day after the fair)
