Welcome to our new Interactive Learning Laboratory (ILL)
The cornerstone of the new laboratory is a state of the art Microsoft Surface Machine. The Microsoft Surface platform brings people together to connect, learn, and decide. It enables experiences that change the way people collaborate and connect with a 360-degree interface. Microsoft Surface sees and responds to touch and real world objects - supporting more than 50 simultaneous inputs. In addition, we've installed 3 HP Touchsmart Monitors to further enhance the experience and capabilities of the laboratory.
A development team has been formed, comprised mainly of undergraduate students to create programming to be utilized by the Surface Machine for various instructional purposes along with practical uses. They've created their own Surface Development Team Website. The possibilites for this technology appear endless.
