CASE Workshop

Who: Alumni Relations Officers

What: UMD received the CASE's District V Venture Fund Grant. This grant allows for professional development on local University Campuses. This workshop will provide networking and the opportunity for alumni relations professionals from schools outside large metro areas in the Upper Midwest to learn and grow. At this CASE Workshop, we will explore two methods for addressing these challenges: bringing programming to alumni who live far from campus and bringing alumni back to campus. The topic will be explored through speaker panels and roundtable discussions.

When: July 12, 2018

Where: University of Minnesota Duluth

Why: The goal of this workshop is for all participants to leave with new ideas to bring back to their institutions as well as new contacts to help build their professional network. All participants will receive materials with information that was shared at the workshop: samples from other schools, notes from the workshop sessions, and a directory of participants.

Workshop Theme: How can we, alumni relations officers, create quality engagement opportunities on a limited budget for alumni who live a significant distance from campus?
