Campus Visit programs include a presentation from an admission representative and a campus tour from a student tour guide. Tours are available Mondays through Fridays. In addition to your tour, you may also schedule an appointment with an admissions counselor. With at least two weeks notice, academic and campus partner appointments may be arranged. Appointments are subject to departmental availability.
Bulldog Fridays have the added bonus of an Academic and Student Service Information Fair where you’ll have the chance to talk with representatives from campus departments and schools. By the end of the day, you’ll have all the tools you need to decide if you’re destined to be a Bulldog. Many people choose to make a weekend of it and stay to explore further what makes UMD and the city of Duluth so special.
Bulldog Friday Dates:
- July 27, 2018*
- August 3, 2018
- August 17, 2018
*Consider attending PharmD Preview Day on July 27, 2018 from 1 - 4 pm. PharmD Preview Day is an event for high school students who are interested in pharmacy. Students can learn more about the PharmD program, careers in pharmacy, and tour the College of Pharmacy classrooms and lab. To register for the event, click here.
After selecting your UMD visit, you and your parent (if email provided) will receive a confirmation email with a parking pass, directions to campus, and itinerary of your visit.
If you are unable to print your parking pass, contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will mail you a parking permit. Please allow five-seven business days for our office to process this request. Campus visitors are directed to park in Gold Lot A with their assigned parking permit. Once parked, follow directional signage to your campus visit location.
In preparation for the new Heikkila Chemistry and Advanced Materials Science Building on campus, directions to your UMD campus visit check-in location may change. Visiting students and their families are still encouraged to park in Gold Lot A with their assigned parking permit. Once parked, visitors should follow the posted detour for their check-in location.
